Grape - Downey Mildew

Prepared by Frank Zalom, Mark A Bell and Masooma Azam, UC Davis International Programs - 2008 Downy mildew attacks all cucurbits, although cucumber is the most commonly infected. Downey mildew thrives when the weather is wet and cool. The fungus grows within the plant tissues and not on the surface, so it can be difficult to detect.
