Pest Management for Carrots
- Common pests in carrot include rodents, carrot rust fly, carrot beetle, six-spot insect, and cuscuta (dodder). All but cuscuta may be controlled by pesticides available in Afghanistan. Afghan farmers pull and burn carrots affected by cuscuta.
